Our ktichen is also the ”main entrance” to the house. Here you can sitt and have breakfast if you are a company of up to 3-4 people. At your disposal is a large fridge and freezer, a stove that works on both gas and electricity (one stove plate and the oven are electric), water boiler, micro wave, coffe machine, and of course plates, cutlery, glasses etc. And the water from the tap is a truly delicious spring water, rich in minerals and other good stuff that is helping to keep the villagers alive longer than most people
In the mornings the cat that thinks she owns the house often sits outside the window and miaws, waiting for a morning treat. Give her if you want to, but if you don’t, she is fully capable of feeding herself.
We love to cook in this kitchen, partly because of all the fantastic local produce that you can pick or buy from neighbours in the village, at the minimarket or the different food trucks coming on a daily basis. And to make your Greek breakfast and then enjoy it on the patio right outside of the kitchen and living room with a view of the mountains, part of the the village AND the sea with all the beaches; that is a truly amazing start of the day.
You enter the living room from the kitchen or from the garden patio. Windows facing east, south and west makes it a light room in the daytime. And to light up the fireplace is wonderful if you visit here in spring, fall or winter and wants a cosy evening home.
Here we also have a brand new HD-TV with DVD, so bring DVD films if you or the kids think you want to hang out in here during the siesta.
Right outside of the living room is the garden patio, which has morning sun, but provides shade during the warmest hours of the day. This patio is probably where you will have all the lunches you eat at home – it has wonderful views of the mountains, part of the village and the sea and beaches, as well as the olive groves leading down to the sea.
The kitchen and living room are recently renovated and newly furnished.
